Directory › For readers › Build client trust as an independent reader

The hardest part of working independently is trust

A new client has never heard of you, there is no big brand behind you, and you are asking them to pay you directly. They need something to go on. This directory was built to give them exactly that.

A record that shows you keep turning up

Every listing shows how long the reader has confirmed, without a break, that they are still practising, for example "Confirmed active since March 2026 · 7 months unbroken". Scammers come and go. Genuine professionals show consistency, and clients can see it at a glance.

Reviews with your side of the story

Clients can review you, and you can reply publicly to every review. If you believe a review is fake, you can challenge it: the reviewer has 14 days to show us details of the reading, or the review is removed.

Checked from both sides

You link to your listing from your own site, and your listing links back to you. A client who finds you anywhere can check you here, and the other way round.

Your hours in their time

Clients see your hours converted to their own time zone, and a "Working now" mark while you are working. That small detail answers the question every new client has: will this person actually be there?

Questions

Do you vet or test readers?

No. We confirm one thing: that a reader is still practising. Clients judge the rest for themselves, from your record, your reviews and your own words.

Can a client see when I last confirmed?

Yes. Your listing shows that you are confirmed active and since when. If a listing stops confirming, it is paused and disappears from the directory.

What if I need a break?

Pause your listing yourself from your private page and come back with one click. Burnout is real in this work, and pausing honestly is better than a listing that looks open when you are not.

Will a listing guarantee me clients?

No directory can promise that. What a listing does is give the clients who find you a reason to trust you.
