About tarot readers
A tarot card reading uses the 78 cards of the tarot to explore a situation, its hidden influences and where it may be heading. Professional tarot readers work with decks such as Rider-Waite-Smith and Thoth, and spreads from a single card or a quick yes-or-no reading to the full Celtic Cross. Many offer online tarot readings by video, phone or chat as well as in person.
Every reader on this page has confirmed they are still practising. We do not test or grade readers. Read their profiles and reviews, and trust your own intuition. See who is working right now or browse by time zone.
Common questions
Do I need to ask a specific question for tarot?
It helps but is not required. Many readers start with a general spread and narrow in from there.
Is tarot the same as oracle cards?
No. Tarot has a fixed 78-card structure; oracle decks vary freely. Some readers use both.
Are these tarot readers still working?
Yes. Every reader listed here confirms regularly, monthly or quarterly, that they are still practising, and their listing shows how long they have done so without a break. Listings that stop confirming are paused.
Can I have a reading online?
Most readers work by phone, video call, chat or email as well as in person. Each listing shows how the reader works and their hours in your own time zone.
How do I pay a reader?
You arrange the reading and payment directly with the reader. The directory takes no commission and does not handle payments.
